I enjoyed the other seasonal release, Midsummer Solstice, so I was really excited to see this Lunar release in my Trader Joe’s a few months later. It was also quite good but I did like the Solstice more. I think it is because I prefer spirits with heavier floral notes. This does still have some floral elements, I picked up on jasmine along with the juniper berries and pine. It is more balanced with some citrus and spices mixed in. It also tasted very smooth with some of that jasmine coming through on the tongue. It is still an easy recommend for a great gin at a great price.
