I found this at Whole Foods and had never seen it before. It turns out after trying to find more information on it on the internet, this batch is so new it doesn’t even have a website. With the only description being on the bottle itself, I have transcribed it here for all to see!

“The first in a series of Small Batch, Limited Edition Bottlings, Old Beezer Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is hand crafted to perfection using methods dating back to the origins of Bourbon in the late 1700’s. Old Beezer celebrates the importance of the master distillers nose (this beezer) in selecting the wheat, rye and corn mash bill to produce the world’s finest bourbon whiskey. Bottled at 90 proof after 10 long years to produce a full bodied nose, with notes of vanilla, banana, and almonds. Dried fruits, spice and toast on the palate lead to a long sweet finish.”

After being disappointed with my last bourbon, I was pleasantly surprised by this. It’s easy drinking for sure, the call outs of vanilla and banana are spot on. This also is much more reasonably priced at 40 dollars. I’d easily recommend this one and I am looking forward to what this distillery will be making next.
